If you require group work, you probably noticed a somewhat new option - the ability to define a group leader. Your first question might be, what is the difference between a group leader and group member. The answer is, not much, but I'll define it a little more for you!

You might be wondering - Does the student group lead impact assignment submission or grading? At this point, according to my testing, it does not. All students within a group are able to post to discussion forums and submit assignments as part of a group. The group lead does not impact grading either. If any member of the group submits an assignment, that assignment can be graded and applied to the group as a whole.
